Tane Mahuta

At the start of today we picked up plumbs from our tree and we gathered all the plums in bags. We got so many plumbs and we are gonna use all the plumbs to make a recipe it's gonna be fun. Everyone participated.

When we finished picking up the plumbs off the tree we had morning tea.

After morning tea we went to a very dirty area of the school and made a difference to it we picked up the rubbish found some funky stuff and saved worms everyone joined in to help the environment. To me, I think it is a great idea to do this stuff for the school so more people would want to come to this school.

I am proud to be at Hornby High School.

Tane Mahuta

I am part of the Tane Mahuta group. our job is to look after our school and making our school attract nature.

Today we looked at areas of the school to plan what we are going to do with that area.

My favorite area of the school is the place with three trees making shade and in the middle is a bench.

My best idea to improve our school is making bird feeders for the school and putting the bird feeders in trees.
