P.E Hurumanu

This week in our P.E Hurumanu we have been Working on teamwork

We played Long kick ball and Bench ball inside the Gym we had to do it because
we were working on teamwork skills

Our first activity was Long kick ball For this activity I rated my self as a four.
To achieve at level four we have to show that we can consistently
Try our best and i included everyone in the game.

During the first game of Long kick ball I showed that I am working at level four by
Trying my best and Supported my Team These examples show that
I have meet the standard for level four. 

Our second activity was Bench Ball For this activity I rated my self as a four.
To achieve at level four we have to show that we can consistently Support our team
and cheer them on also using positive words. During the first game of Bench Ball I showed
that I am working at level four by Sharing the ball and Doing the best that i possibly
could These examples show that I have meet the standard for level four.

Next week I am aiming to work at level four again To make sure that I am working
that level I am going to work on Playing in more positions.

Chinchilla{fur} vs Porcupine{spikes}

Would you rather have fur as soft as a Chinchilla or Spikes like a Porcupine?

Honestly I would rather have spikes like a porcupine because with them I can protect myself and having soft fur would do nothing except keep me warm.Spikes are cool and they can help me many times in life. And that's the few reasons why I would prefer Spikes like a porcupine.

The battle was born 

with two teams one left and one right, 

but just very soon they will start their mighty fight.

All you could hear was gunshots in the distance, 

it makes the soldiers feel like they're out of existence.

Soldiers dying on the dirty mud and their blood pouring everywhere,

Soldiers screaming at one another in fear. 

One team could taste victory and the other defeat.

In every battle you should not have smelly feet.

The development of music

For music Hurumanu, we have been working on making a slideshow about the Development of Music each decade from the 1900s to 2010s. In my group is Ranit and we have been working on it after school and we were the first ones managing to finish it and we are happy about our slideshow and how we presented it. 

We had to present about who were famous in each decade and what were the most popular songs at the time.We learnt about new song artists and we learnt what genres they sang now we know more about music and how it developed. We would like to learn more about the history of music because it is a fun thing to learn about.

Charlesworth Reserve

Information-

The city council has decided to plant trees at Charlesworth reserve because the trees and plants would provide Nesting,Roosting and a Feeding habitat for Native birds.It also provides a habitat for fish and marine life. Over 1000 Trees,Shrubs and marsh plants have now been planted at the site at the moment and yet there is still more getting planted. Animals are living there at the moment and still more is arriving, it is gonna be a happy native place for the native animals in the world.

Shoe Story

Every time I explore with my owner I see many different things we always go everywhere with each other until this thing called school came in his life. Everyday he would take this new black leather shoes with him on this yellow moving box. after 3 months i got lonely and needed company in my house. So i packed my socks and left to find another pair of shoes. Later that day I found a shop with lots of sneakers like me. So I looked at the shoes all were black except for one.. The one that standed out the most was the pink one.. I took her back home with me. We did all sorts of things like race each other I had so much fun.. but everyday my owner would come back and wear me again I was so confused. So he did his daily yellow box routine but one day he came back with a girl and they both had this sweaty smell.. or was it me. Well one thing i know is it was definitely him. Everyday she would come over and as soon as u know it we all lived together. She would always wear my friend the pink pair of shoes. After the strange school thing ended my owner only cared about me because the black other school shoes broke. Then me my owner and his Friend that came over everyday lived happily ever after. Until we didn't... my owner couldn't fit me anymore but he still took me everywhere with him and the pink pair of shoes died 2 years ago.
