reading plus

Reading plus is helping me read faster and it is making me understand what I am reading  also it is helping me with my vocabulary. I like reading plus because if you get a better reading rate you get more profile pictures for reading plus and that is why I like it.

My goal this week is to get all green ticks and all 100%

The Ridge

I could hear the strong waves as I rode against
the rough mountains, struggling to get through.
The bike’s wheels pumping through as best as it could.
Hopping on one wheel the bike just made it over the river.
You could hear the bike thumping hard on the ground,
I could also smell the salt water. I could feel the cold
weather it felt like i was on a cold mountain with basically
no clothing.

The bike was going as fast as a cheetah storming through the wind.
Then suddenly I made it to the beach and to make it there i
needed to go over a fence so i remembered that i have had lots
of experience flipping over fences i remember that to get over
i need to be in a perfect angle and go to it with the right
amount of speed. I rode to it just like I've been taught and
whoosh i just made it over with a thump and a bump then i
made it to the beach with the beautiful ocean ahead.

We are learning to make our writing as interesting as possible by adding what we hear, feel, see and taste and by adding our punctuation is well.

This man found a poor pig in the middle of the road

and he took it home.

This man named the pig sue and he tried finding it’s

poor owner who missed the pig.

So he rung everyone he knew and later on the pig’s

owner she said bring sue this afternoon then he drove

to the owners house and he saw this sign that said free range pork.

Then he gave the box what the pig was in but the pig

wasn’t in there he was in the seat of the car.

So i think that the pig deserved to not go home to the

real owner he deserved to stay and the owner should

get away with stealing the pig so the pig won’t die.

Bones of an animal

Animals bones can get diseases and they are called

• Bone Fractures. 
• that's one of them 

animals need bones to stay still and have a good posture and they need bones because they produce blood.

Zoology

In science i got to choose what i wanted to work on and i chose  zoology and this is a panda hope you like it

What i found out about pandas is that 99% of a Panda's diet consists of bamboo. and about 1,000 pandas are in the wild also pandas are cute. and pandas live up to 38 years.

Bio security

7ds have been learning about bio security and that they protect us by making

 diseases and insects that can harm us out of this environment.

Motueka

Motueka

In the Easter holidays me and my family had a six hour trip to
Motueka to see my cousins for a weekend, we went to the beach
and had lots of fun.

On Friday me and my family had to wake up at
3 o'clock in the morning we had to pack our bags
and get in the car just to go to motueka we left at 5
and straight away it was boring I felt bummed so I decided
to rest so 2 hours later I saw awesome hot springs and
awesome scenery my sister said can we go to the hot springs
so we did it was so warm and so relaxing.

When we got out to have a stretch we found ourselves
by a walk it said to the centre of new Zealand so we did
it and it was just 15 minutes finally we got to our cousins
house we played with their dog and them their dog’s name is Coba.

And the wayback 6 more boring hours i felt rushed and wanted to
stay but on the way back i was surprised that we went to a awesome
waterfall and then we went back home to another lovely day.
