Is January is the coolest time of the year to visit Cancun, Mexico, although this is not saying much in comparison to the winter weather experienced elsewhere in the world! The resort has a lovely average temperature of 23°C, with highs of up to 28°C and lows of a mild 21°.
Some of the most widely spoken languages in Mexico, aside from Spanish, are Nahuatl, which has almost 1.4 million speakers, Yucatan Maya, spoken by over three-quarters of a million people, and Mixtec, whose speakers amount to about half a million.

Sir Peter James Blake, KBE was a New Zealand yachtsman who won the 1989–90 Whitbread Round the World Race, held the Jules Verne Trophy from 1994 to 1997 by setting the fastest time around the world as co-skipper of ENZA New Zealand, and led his country to successive victories.New Zealand-born yachting legend Sir Peter Blake is the only sailor to have taken part in the first five Whitbread Round the World races. He also led his country to two successive America's Cup victories. Sir Peter Blake is a New Zealand-born yachting legend.
