Witi Ihimaera

Witi Ihimaera is a Maori author and short story writer, He was born in Gisborne located on the east coast of the north island. Witi Ihimaera was the first Maori to publish both a book and a novel, a few of his novels have been adapted into films, including Whale Rider, White Lies, Kawa, Déwé Gorodé: Écrire Le Pays, and Mahana
What does “Yellow Brick Road” mean for you? Have you ever heard this expression before? Yellow Brick road means a road to fame, I have heard this before in the popular movie "The Wizard of Oz" What do you predict this story will be about, based on the title? I think that the story would be based around a journey leading people to success or fame.
